PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pleated pattern forming apparatus and a method capable of stably and reliably forming a smooth pleated pattern on the surface of a food product.;SOLUTION: A pleated pattern forming apparatus 1 comprises: a pleated pattern forming part 2 which forms a radial pleated pattern on a surface dough of a formed article; a twist-forming part 3 which applies twist operation to the center part of the formed pleated pattern and sandwiches the surface dough in accordance with the twisting operation to perform twist-forming; and a conveying part 4 which sequentially conveys the formed article to the pleated pattern forming part 2 and the twist-forming part 3.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1;COPYRIGHT: (C)2021,JPO&INPIT
