How to collect the stratum corneum and how to observe the collected stratum corneum

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel method of sampling the horny cell layer, and a method of evaluating condition of the horny cell layer more easily.;SOLUTION: A horny layer sampling method includes steps of; rubbing a target portion of skin with a carrier impregnated with a horny layer sampling liquid in order to rub the horny cell layer off the skin; and collecting the horny cell layer from the carrier after rubbing. The step of collecting the horny cell layer from the carrier after rubbing involves drying the carrier after rubbing, and bringing the dried carrier into contact with a medium with an adhesive surface to transfer the horny cell layer to the medium.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1;COPYRIGHT: (C)2018,JPO&INPIT
