To provide methods of detecting locations and frequencies of vibrating parts of machines in routine inspection and fault detection of the machines.SOLUTION: A processor implemented method comprises: detecting a set of vibration frequencies by a movement detector; recording at each vibration frequency an output of a stroboscope in the form of a video having a predetermined length; and extracting from the video a frame having a vibrating part corresponding to an associated vibration frequency, and mapping each detected vibration frequency to a corresponding vibrating part using a predefined marker for tracking the associated vibrating part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
