The present invention relates to a combustion apparatus, and in particular, to a catalytic flameless combustion apparatus in which the emission of pollutants is minimized. The combustion apparatus of the present invention includes a fuel inlet, a supporting combustion gas inlet, a gas premixing device, a combustion plate, an igniter, a gas deflector, a flameless combustion cavity and a catalyst filled therein, a gas filling chamber and an exhaust port. The present invention discloses a method of operating a catalytic flameless combustion apparatus with minimized pollutant emission, and in this method, first, a flameless combustion cavity and a catalyst charged therein are heated by a flame combustion method having a small porosity, and then the flow rate is increased. And converting it to a high-power catalyst flameless combustion. The catalytic flameless combustion apparatus of the present invention can be used in the process of acquiring heat by combustion of various non-solid fuels, and has sufficient combustion of fuel, and emissions of hydrocarbon compounds, carbon monoxide and nitrogen oxides in combustion exhaust gas are all 1 ppm. It is less than, and has beneficial effects such as high efficiency, energy saving, eco-friendly, safety, compact, and good combustion stability.
