Disclosed are a method and apparatus for preprocessing a pulse wave based on a similarity, and a computer system and a readable storage medium, which relate to the field of medical digital signal processing. The method comprises the following steps: collecting a pulse wave, and partitioning, based on a rhythm, the pulse wave into a plurality of periodic waveforms; calculating a similarity between any two periodic waveforms to obtain similarity information corresponding to all the periodic waveforms; screening out a template wave according to the similarity information of all the periodic waveforms; and preprocessing, based on the template wave, the pulse wave. Abnormal waveforms are screened and abandoned by means of similarity comparison, thereby achieving the aim of preprocessing the pulse wave, improving the accuracy of a subsequent feature extraction result of the waveforms, and facilitating application of subsequent waveform processing.
