Improvements in fitting attachments to shopping cart handles

A receiver and clip arrangement is provided to allow the simple and easy fitting of an accessory, such as a scanner, to a vehicle, such as a shopping trolley 4. The receiver element 5 is included on a part of the cart 4 to receive a clip being part of the accessory. The clip clicks into position once fully inserted into a receiving slot. The clip is made of a flexible material which is deformed as it is pushed into the receiving and retaining section of the receiver. Support ledges and faces abut each other when the clip is fully inserted so that one part is additionally supported against movement by the second part. Two clip legs 9,10 may be provided on a scanner holder 2. Each clip has a wedge shaped portion and a ledge 11. A trolley end cap 3 may also have a supporting face 13 with a supporting ledge 12. The invention retains the accessory and prevents easy removal.
