Systems and apparatus associated with an automated footwear platform including an actuator assembly for controlling a shoelace drive device are discussed. In one example, an actuator assembly may include an actuator frame having a plurality of integrated actuators. The actuator frame is configured to interconnect elements of the actuator assembly, the actuator frame having a width, a length, and a thickness, wherein the width and length define an outer surface and an inner surface separated by the thickness. The plurality of actuators are integrated into the actuator frame, and each actuator of the plurality of actuators has an actuator head extending from an outer surface, and a button interface extending through the inner surface from the rear side of the actuator head.
