A device and a method for preparing donor fecal microbiota for transplantation under anaerobic conditions is proposed. The device contains a donor container, a mechanism for dosed supply of a solution and/or a cryoprotectant into the container, a mechanism for creating an anaerobic environment in the container, a homogenization mechanism, a mechanism for pumping out the obtained fecal microbiota from the container, and a control module. The method includes collecting the donor material into the donor container, weighing the container with the donor material, assessing the volume and dosed supply of the solution and/or cryoprotectant to the container, supplying carbon dioxide to the container, mixing the donor material and the solution and/or cryoprotectant in the container, filtering the resulting suspension, and dosed filling of containers for fecal microbiota. ;EFFECT: inventions provide the possibility of obtaining microbiota samples of various composition and consistency from donor fecal material in sealed, anaerobic conditions from the very beginning of the process.;17 cl, 2 dwg
