The present invention relates to an air conditioner communication technology, and in particular to an air conditioner communication method based on single line half duplex communication. The method aims at solving the problem that an existing master-slave air conditioner communication method cannot guarantee that important information of a slave is sent to a master in time. For this purpose, the air conditioner communication method of the present invention comprises: the master sends data to the slave; when the data is sent, the master continuously monitors the state of a communication line; if an emergency communication guidance code sent by the slave is detected, the master is switched into a data receiving state so as to receive emergency communication data sent by the slave; after receiving the emergency communication data sent by the slave, the master is returned to a data sending state. According to the method of the present invention, when the master sends the data, the slave can guide the master to receive the important information in a manner of sending the emergency communication guidance code without waiting for data sending completion of the master, so that the important information of the slave can be sent to the master in the first time.
