The purpose of the present invention is to provide: a carbonated beverage that provides a favorable cooling sensation during drinking; a method for producing the same; and a method for improving the cooling sensation of a carbonated beverage. The present invention pertains to a carbonated beverage containing ethyl glycoside and citric acid and/or a salt thereof. The total concentration of citric acid and/or the salt thereof in terms of citric acid is 50 ppm or more. The ratio ((B)/(A)) of the concentration (B) of ethyl glycoside to the total concentration (A) of citric acid and/or the salt thereof in terms of citric acid is 0.0003-200. The concentration of ethanol is less than 0.5 v/v%.
