MODULAR POWER SUBSTATION AND CORRESPONDING CONSTRUCTION METHOD

The invention relates to a power substation comprising all of the typical components, which allows reduced construction time, improved maintenance, disassembly and re-use, and reduced occupational hazards. For this purpose, each of the components is housed in an individual module formed by a self-supporting structure of steel beams, which may be of the H type and assembled with bolts. The self-supporting structure is designed to house the specific component of the module and bears on a zero-slope crushed stone substrate, which in turn bears on a subsoil base having a thickness of 50 cm and a minimum slope of 0.5 %. The crushed stone substrate is confined by means of perimeter beams. In addition, the entire set of modules is also confined by means of perimeter beams. The invention also relates to the method for constructing the power substation.
