PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method for determining a runway exit for landing an aircraft, more specifically, regarding landing an aircraft. A device (301) is provided for determining a plurality of runway exits reachable by an aircraft and an applied braking force when landing at each of the plurality of runway outlets. The device also predicts the taxiing time of an aircraft (302) when landing at each of the plurality of runway exits. The device predicts the maintenance cost of the aircraft when landing at each of the plurality of runway exits based on the applied braking force (303), and when landing at each of the plurality of runway exits. The total cost of the aircraft is estimated based on the taxiing time and the maintenance cost (304). The device further identifies the runway exit with the lowest total cost among the plurality of runway exits (305), and recommends a runway exit for landing the aircraft. Present to the user.
