The present invention relates to a seismic precursor soil air advection detection method and system using thoron, and after injecting artificially generated thoron into soil air, the concentration of radon and thoron measured according to the flow of soil air into which the thoron is injected is measured. Using the soil air advection velocity can be detected, and an earthquake precursor can be detected based on the detected soil air advection velocity.
