To provide a nondestructive method of diagnosing the degree of deterioration of an actual waterproof sheet installed on a waterproof foundation by an insulative construction method.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a sheet deterioration diagnosis method of diagnosing the degree of deterioration of a waterproof sheet installed on a waterproof foundation by an insulative construction method, the method including: turning down a pressure resistant vessel having an opening on a non-adhesive part of the waterproof sheet in such a state that the side at the opening of the vessel faces the waterproof sheet; reducing the inner pressure of the pressure resistant vessel to a diagnosis pressure which is predetermined to be lower than atmospheric pressure; measuring the amount of a lifted portion of the non-adhesive part from the waterproof foundation, the lifted portion being caused when the non-adhesive part being drawn into the inside of the pressure resistant vessel through the opening upon the inner pressure of the pressure resistant vessel being reduced; and determining the degree of deterioration of the waterproof sheet based on the measured lifted amount.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
