A biomarker for determining the presence or absence of Kawasaki disease was identified and a kit and method with which it is possible, using said biomarker, to directly and objectively determine the presence or absence of Kawasaki disease in a subject suspected of having Kawasaki disease was developed and is provided. Specifically provided is a Kawasaki disease determination kit that comprises a LOX-1 protein and/or the portion thereof that exhibits a LAB binding function which has been immobilized by a substrate surface.
