Problem: partial geometric distortion is corrected with high precision, high efficiency and low cost.The geometric distortion correcting apparatus 10 includes a correction section 110 and an overlay section 120. The correction unit 110 performs geometric distortion correction for a partial image which is a part of the image in the video data. The overlay section 120 superimposes a partial image subjected to geometric distortion correction to the image in the video data.Diagram
