This disclosure provides systems and methods for ridesharing using blockchain. Systems, methods and computer readable media are disclosed that describe ridesharing using blockchain. Example methods may include: determining a condition associated with a user of a rideshare vehicle based on at least one first device associated with the rideshare vehicle; Identifying confirmation of the condition by one or more second devices; and adding a transaction to a blockchain, the transaction including a description of the state, the confirmation and a link to a journey taken of the state.
