A light-emitting device, comprising:a first tether path, which is so designed that it is soldered to an attachment substrate;a first electrode electrically connected to the first tether path via a first connecting electrode;a semiconductor layer of a first conductivity type connected to the first electrode; anda soldering ball contact area and a non-conductive area;where the first pathway includes at least two longitudinal, opposite areas located in the soldering ball contact area; andthe non-conducting area is located between at least two longitudinal, opposite areas.
