The invention relates to a method of and system for establishing a value of a clinical test and a corresponding medical imaging system. A first diagnosis of the clinical test is provided and at least one second diagnosis of the same type of diagnosis and for the same subject is fetched. An outcome of the clinical test is calculated by comparing the first diagnosis with the at least one second diagnosis. The value of the clinical test is determined by assessing the outcome of the clinical test in view of a cost of the clinical test.
