A temperature profile (16) for the heat treatment of the dental prosthesis part (1) is automatically determined by a computer (17) as a function of determined geometric parameters (10, 11, 12, 13) of the dental prosthesis part to be produced (1) and/or of determined material parameters of the dental prosthesis part to be produced (1).
