The present invention relates to industrial control equipment technology, and more particularly, to a direct-read instrumentation using an FBG sensor and an industrial instrumentation system using the same. The disclosed industrial control system includes a plurality of direct reading instrumentation installed at sites within and outside a hazardous area, an FBG interrogate for receiving measured values from the direct reading instrumentation as an optical signal, and data of the FBG interrogate. It includes a controller for receiving input and controlling the field facility, and an actuator for controlling the operation state of the field facility according to the control signal of the controller. The direct reading instrumentation of the disclosed embodiment includes a temperature sensing unit for sensing the temperature of a field facility, a temperature indicating unit for displaying a guideline so that the detected value of the temperature sensing unit can be observed with the naked eye, and an optical signal for the amount of displacement of the temperature indicating unit. An FBG sensor for detecting with the FBG sensor, a housing that accommodates parts and provides an observation window for visually viewing the indicated value of the temperature indicator, and an optical port formed in the housing for connecting an optical signal to the FBG sensor. Therefore, the measured value of the temperature of the field facility is displayed so that it can be observed with the naked eye at the site, and the measured value can be transmitted as an optical signal.
