A method of active neutralization of the effect of the vibrations of a rotary wing aircraft for a mono-static Doppler radar comprises: a first step (104) of measuring and temporal extrapolation of the vibratory modes at the level of the antenna transmission-reception radar using a 3-axis vibration sensor, integral with the antenna and close to the phase center of the antenna; then- a second step (106) of estimating the expected movements of the transmit-receive antenna or of the first transmit antenna and of the second receive antenna; then- a third step (108) of compensation for the expected displacements of the transmit radar antenna at the level of the transmit chain or of the receive chain of the transmitter-radar, in which the projection of the displacement vector of the phase center O on a pointing direction is calculated to determine the value of the compensation phase shift to be applied.
