The invention relates to a method for producing a geothermal heat collector (1), wherein boreholes (2) are made in the ground (12) and then collector tubes (3) for heat exchange between a medium conducted in the collector tubes (3) and the ground (12) are introduced into the boreholes (2), the collector tubes (3) guided through the individual boreholes (2) being connected by means of connection lines (4). The invention also relates to a drill for making boreholes in the ground for a geothermal collector, said drill having a drilling table with at least one drilling table foot, and also a drilling rod which is rotatable about an axis relative to the drilling table and is axially movable, it being possible to make a borehole in the ground by rotating the drilling rod whilst moving it axially. The invention additionally relates to a geothermal heat collector (1) with collector tubes (3) arranged in the ground (12), through which collector tubes a heat transfer medium can be conducted so as to allow an exchange of heat between the ground (12) and the heat transfer medium.
