A method for neutron imaging during a triaxial mechanical test of sediment of a natural gas hydrate. According to the method, by using the characteristic of the molecular structure size of a hydrate being similar to the wavelength of a cold neutron, a mass attenuation coefficient of a neutron beam is increased by means of reducing the energy of the neutron beam, thereby enhancing the degree of differentiation between a natural gas hydrate, natural gas and water molecules, improving the image resolution of an internal structure of sediment of the natural gas hydrate, and achieving high-precision imaging of a structure during a triaxial mechanical test of the sediment of the natural gas hydrate. By means of the method, creep and relaxation laws during natural gas hydrate sample formation and decomposition processes can be acquired, and the method is beneficial to understanding a dynamic response process of reservoir stability after development of the natural gas hydrate.
