Provided is a 3D sand mold printer based on inkjet printing technology, the 3D sand mold printer comprising a frame (10). The frame (10) is provided with a printing device comprising a printing spray head (20) and an ink supply component (21), the ink supply component (21) being connected to the printing spray head (20); a material-carrying device (40) located on a lower side of the printing spray head (20), the material-carrying device (40) comprising a molding tank (41), a loading tank (42) and a horizontally arranged guide rail (44), wherein both the molding tank (41) and the loading tank (42) are arranged on the guide rail (44), and base plates of the molding tank (41) and the loading tank (42) are both piston trays (53) capable of moving up and down along tank walls, a jacking plate (50) for pushing the piston tray (53) to move in a vertical direction is arranged on a lower side of the base plate, and a locking component is arranged between the jacking plate (50) and the piston tray (53); a powder-spreading device comprising a pressing roller (31), the pressing roller (31) being located on an upper side of the material-carrying device (40); and a powder-spreading and printing driving device (30) capable of driving the spray head (20) to move in a printing plane, the powder-spreading and printing driving device (30) being capable of driving the powder-spreading device to push and spread a material in the loading tank (42) onto the printing plane of the molding tank (41). The 3D sand mold printer is compact in structure, small in size and simple to operate, and the cleaning and replacement of the tanks are easy.
