A robot for intelligently monitoring and evaluating a dangerous gas source in unsealing a closed tunnel of a coal mine and a monitoring and evaluation method are disclosed. The robot comprises a control system (1), a crawler drive system (2), a dangerous gas source monitoring system (3), an intelligent danger early-warning evaluation system (4), a running data storage system (5), and a navigation system (6). The control system (1) receives and processes a wireless transmission signal; the crawler drive system (2) and the navigation system (6) control a walking route; the dangerous gas source monitoring system (3) comprises a gas detection mechanical hand and monitors the concentrations of gases such as O2, CH4 and NH 3 at different heights; the dangerous gas source monitoring system (3) establishes a three-dimensional cloud image of an air field in a closed tunnel according to monitoring data; the intelligent danger early-warning evaluation system (4) determines the danger of the tunnel and completes early warning; the running data storage system (5) stores monitoring and evaluation results. According to the monitoring and evaluation method, the danger of unsealing a closed tunnel is comprehensively evaluated by using detection data, thereby solving the problem of how to comprehensively and accurately evaluate the danger of suffocation in the closed tunnel after being unsealed.
