DECOLOURIZATION AND DEPROTEINIZATION METHOD OF BROWN ALGAE POLYSACCHARIDE

A decolourization and deproteinization method of brown algae polysaccharide, relating to the field of deep processing of brown algae. The method is a method of UV in combination with hydrogen peroxide (H₂O₂). The method specifically comprises: obtaining brown algae polysaccharide by extracting, by means of a hot-water method, brown algae after drying and smashing, then dissolving the brown algae polysaccharide in an aqueous solution containing H₂O₂, irradiating the brown algae polysaccharide solution under ultraviolet light, performing deproteinization and decolourization on the brown algae polysaccharide by using 2.5-10.0 mg/mL of the mass concentration of the brown algae polysaccharide, 25-150 mmol/L of the concentration of H₂O₂, and 1.0-2.0 h of ultraviolet irradiation time duration. The method has the advantages of not using acid, alkali, and organic solvents, and being green and pollution-free, easy in operation, safe, economical and time-saving.
