The present invention provides a cross-flow fan capable of increasing wind pressure or wind volume without increasing the diameter thereof. The cross-flow fan (3) includes: a plurality of vanes (15) disposed at predetermined intervals in the circumferential direction around a rotation axis C1; a tongue part (17) disposed circumferentially outside the vanes (15); a cylindrical body (23) which is arranged more inward than the vanes (15) and closer to the tongue part (17) than the rotation axis C1 and which rotates about a central axis C2 parallel to the rotation axis C1; and a cylindrical body driving motor for rotating the cylindrical body (23) in a direction along the flow flowing through the rotation axis C1 side.
