A defecation recording system according to an embodiment of the present invention has: a toilet bowl installed in a toilet room; a user identification device that identifies a user using the toilet bowl; a detection device that detects an excrement discharged into the toilet bowl; a determination device that determines the nature of the excrement on the basis of the detection result of the detection device; a clocking device that acquires time information indicating the date and time of the detection by the detection device; a recording device that associates the user identified by the user identification device with the nature of the excrement and the time information and records the result as individual data; and a display device that displays information about the excrement which is based on the individual data recorded by the recording device.
