PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for disabling one or more functions of a wireless charging device when it is determined that the wireless device charged by the wireless charging device no longer requires wireless power. A flow that reduces the power consumption of a wireless charging device, providing wireless power to the wireless device, determining that the wireless power is no longer needed by the wireless device, and the wireless power is no longer needed by the wireless device. Disable at least one or more features of the wireless charging device and the wireless device in response to determining that it is not needed.
