A terminal position estimation system includes: a plurality of transmission antennas (31, 31a, 31b, 31c) which are determined in advance; a plurality of receiving antennas (21) of a communication terminal (2, 2a) receiving an electric wave transmitted from the transmitting antennas; a strength determining section (201, 201a) that determines a magnetic field strength of the electric wave received by the receiving antennas; and a terminal position estimating section (202, 303) that estimates a communication terminal position using the magnetic field strength determined by the strength determining section and for the electric wave transmitted from the transmitting antennas. When the communication terminal position is estimated using the magnetic field strength for the electric wave emitted from the transmission antennas, the terminal position estimation section estimates a position as the communication terminal position which satisfies an approximate expression for the respective transmission antennas within a predetermined range, the approximate equation being a magnetic field strength distribution for expresses the respective transmission antennas with two variables of a distance from the transmission antennas to the communication terminal position and an angle of a direction in which the communication terminal is positioned with respect to an axial direction of the transmission antennas.
