PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drinking water that maintains its quality, and also deodorizes the odor of an indigestible dextrin-containing liquid, to which indigestible dextrin has been added, and is tasty (and easy) to drink, and a method for producing a drinking water.SOLUTION: The present invention provides a method for producing a drinking water in which a specific flavor caused by indigestible dextrin is reduced, the method including the step for heating indigestible dextrin-containing liquid at 80-180°C for 15-120 minutes.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
