PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a band heater having a heater body which can be easily attached to and detached from a body to be heated, thereby achieving easy attachment work and replacement work.SOLUTION: In the band heater, a heater body 3 is provided with a cut line in a center axis direction X to form an open part 14 and also to provide one side end folded part 15A and the other side end folded part 15B where one side end part 8A and the other side end part 8B in the center axis direction X of an inside coated member 8 having been folded to an outside direction of one side end part 9A and the other side end part 9B in the center axis direction X of an outer coated member 9. The one side end folded part 15A and the other side end folded part 15B are provided with one side end notched part 17A and the other side end notched part 17B which are notched in the center axis direction X at a part P opposed to the open part 14. An exterior member 10 is provided with a cut-out portion 18 which is formed by cutting and opening at positions of the one side end notched part 17A and the other side end notched part 17B and in a prescribed width L in the center axis direction X.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
