PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce an orally disintegrating tablet which can be produced by a dry process without adopting a complicated process and has an appropriate tablet strength and excellent disintegration property. And to provide a method for producing the same, and to provide the orally disintegrating tablet and the method for producing the same. A composition for an orally disintegrating tablet containing at least a water-soluble cellulose ether, catechin, and sugar; a powder raw material containing a water-soluble cellulose ether, catechin, and sugar is dry-mixed. This is solved by a method for producing a composition for an orally disintegrating tablet, which comprises a step of obtaining a composition for an orally disintegrating tablet containing a water-soluble cellulose ether, catechin, and sugar.
