PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition containing a fragrance capable of enhancing the fragrance generated by a simple operation, or a method for enhancing the fragrance of the resin composition. A resin composition contains a resin component, a heating element that generates heat by microwaves, and a fragrance. The fragrance is dispersed in the resin component. The resin composition is irradiated with microwaves to raise the temperature of the resin composition, and the fragrance of the fragrance is generated from the resin composition. The resin component is preferably crosslinked rubber, particularly silicone rubber. The heating element is preferably a ferrite powder. [Selection diagram] Fig. 1
