PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polybutylene terephthalate resin composition for laser absorption and a molded product having high heat resistance, excellent laser welding strength, and no generation of gas or fogging during laser welding. SOLUTION: A) polybutylene terephthalate resin 50 to 70 parts by mass and (B) polycarbonate resin 30 to 50 parts by mass, totaling 100 parts by mass, (C) inorganic filler 20 to 100 parts by mass, (D A polybutylene terephthalate resin composition for laser absorption, which comprises 0.05 to 1 part by mass of a phosphoric acid ester compound and 0.1 to 2.5 parts by mass of (E) a release agent.
