PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a smoke phenomenon in which metal powders repel each other and explosively scatter without forming a temporary sintered body, and to form an internal flow path or the like, which has been difficult to form, in a three-dimensional manner. Provided is a method for manufacturing a metal model. SOLUTION: A step of (a) laying a metal powder 3 having an electric resistance of 0.001 Ωm or less in a layered manner, and (b) irradiating a layer of the metal powder laid in the step (a) with an electron beam 7 to generate an electron beam. The step of melting the metal powder in the irradiated area, the step of (c) solidifying the molten metal in step (b) to form the metal solidifying layer 8, and the step (d) of step (b) melting the metal powder. The step of selectively preheating the region 6 to be formed to a temperature equal to or higher than the recrystallization temperature of the metal constituting the region and lower than the melting temperature, and (e) steps (a) to (d) are repeated a plurality of times. Three-dimensional lamination including a step of laminating each metal solidified layer formed each time, and a step of removing the metal powder in which the metal powder has not been melted and solidified after the step (e) (e).
