The invention relates to a method for determining a flight with or without maintenance for an aircraft of an air fleet, taking as input a datum from a first future flight comprising a flight path datum and a flight time datum, as well as an identifier of a first aircraft of the air fleet, comprising the following steps: determining (100) a level of fouling for a turbomachine of the first aircraft, at the end of the first future flight; determining (200) a flight maintenance recommendation level for the turbomachine, from environmental data predictive of the first flight and from the previously determined level of fouling; generation of a control instruction (400) for an in-flight maintenance operation or a maintenance-free flight as a function of the flight maintenance recommendation level, the maintenance operation making it possible to de-foul the turbomachine.
