12,453. Thomas, R. July 10. Walking aids for children. -A cord c stretched between two posts carries a frame pulley d4, from which is suspended by a chain d3 and swivels d5, d6 a cross-bar d2. The cross-bar is connected by straps e' to a jacket e, which is buttoned on the child as shown. The tension of the cord c, or the length of the chain d3, is adjusted so that the child stands on the ground. A net may be arranged to form an enclosure, in which the child can play. According to the Provisional Specification, the posts may b e adjustable in height, or one of them may be mounted on a ball-and-socket joint and move longitudinallly in its base-plate.
