Window guards; window-shutters.-Folding gates or guards for shop fronts &c. are constructed of uprights C, connected together by lazy-tongs latticework E Each upright is formed of two bars of channel, I, or other shape in section, connected by perforated spacing-blocks K, which serve as guides for the pins H of the upper and lower lazy-tongs joints. The lattice-bars are pivoted centrally at F between the uprights. The end uprights are provided with stop blocks or pins to limit the opening of the framework.
