Improvements in Collecting and Holding Sheets for Postage and other Stamps

5890. Lehnig, M. March 20. Filing papers.-Relates to further methods of forming the pockets of the sheets described in Specification No. 3974, A.D. 1901, for collecting and holding stamps &c. Strips C, Figs. 1 and 1a, are attached to a sheet A by longitudinal seams B &c., and are placed at intervals wide enough to receive two columns of stamps as shown. The pockets G are closed at the ends by transverse seams D. The seam may be made centrally in the strip to form pockets at each side. The sheet shown in Fig. 3 is formed into double folds H held together by longitudinal seams J, which may be replaced by transverse ones spaced to include two, three, or more stamps. The sheet shown in Fig. 5 is formed with folds L, L1, held by transverse seams, which may be replaced by longitudinal ones. The sheet shown in Fig. 7 is folded and seamed to form pockets G6, G7 on either side, and a similar arrangement is formed from strips N, Fig. 8.
