Metal and earthenware pipes and articles, uniting.-Relates to the overflows, outlets, and inlets of earthenware, fireclay, and the like sanitary appliances, such as lavatory basins, baths, sinks, closets, cisterns, urinals, and the like. The waste pipe is attached to a flanged metal coupling-tube placed in the undercut recess of the outlet. The discharge outlet may be enlarged into a socket for the pipe, and the pipe may be secured by bolts in addition to a lead or other filling.
