When the draw-bar A is in tension, the guided plate B is clear of the lugs E attached to the axles F. Relaxation of the pull causes the plate B to engage the lugs and lock the wheels. The brake mechanism may be thrown out of gear by causing the pivoted bar H to engage the nose L of the draw-bar. The application to reversible vehicles is also described.
