Sun and weather screens. -A screen for preventing sunstroke and heatstroke consists of a plate a carrying perforated ribs, rods, or stays b, and attached to the bridle by buckled straps c passing through holes f. The air has free passage between the ribs. The parts a, b are made of absorbent material such as felt, cork, &c., and the screen is dipped in cold water before it is attached. The screen may be coloured to match the horse.
