Corns, bunions, and the like, treatment of. - For treating a bunion, a stall 2 is put over the great toe, and traction applied into it by an elastic band 1, which passes round the heel and terminates in a second stall 3 which is put over the little toe. Just behind the bunion, the band 1 is threaded through loops on a pad 4, which is secured to the foot by an elastic or other band 5. In some cases the band 1 is dispensed with, the stall 2 being sewn to the pad 4, or the pad may be used alone. In the case of a corn, a small pad formed of a casing of cloth stuffed with wool, felt, &c. is secured just behind the corn.
