Incandescent gas lamps.-The transmission of shocks and vibrations to the fragile mantles F1 is prevented by mounting the mixing tube or upper part E of the burner upon the gas-supply pipe B by means of a bow spring D, which is attached as shown by the coils D', D2. The coil D' is secured by screwing down the nozzle U, which is finely perforated at the flat top C' for the supply of gas, the air supply entering through the open annulus formed between the nozzle C and the mixing-tube E.
