Frying-pans &c.-Frying or like pans are provided with open conical, pyramidal, dome-shaped, or similar covers, in order to arrest splashes of grease &c., and prevent access of smuts. One form of cover is shown. The lower edge a1 fits into the pan, and is inwardly inclined in order to direct splashes back into the pan. A supporting-flange b is provided at the lower part of the cover, and a handle d at the upper part. The flange may be inclined upwards in order to direct flames outwards from the pan. Holes may be provided at the base of the dome or body for the return of liquid that may escape through the open top.
