Lamp stations.-Relates to a lamp house for mines arranged so that the lamps are made ready for use in such a manner that the prescribed sequence of operations must be adhered to. The Figure shows a plan, in which A is the store and issuing room, B1, B2, B3 cleaning and repairing rooms, and C a filling-room. The lamps are taken on trucks w from room A over unlocking-magnets m, and the parts are placed in order on boxes or trucks w1, for cleaning, repair, &c., these boxes being passed round the work-tables, on which they are guided by a raised ledge or by rails.
