10,476. Henderson, H. May 8. Cattle ships. - The floors of cattle pens on steamboats and the like are fitted with removable non-slipping false floors. The invention is described as applied to a cattle truck. The false floor is made in three portions, as shown. The two end portions may be hinged at one side, so that they can be lifted up for cleaning, or stowed against the side of the truck when it is required for carrying ordinary merchandize. The middle portion may be secured by pins entering holes in the main floor. The side portions may also be secured in the same way.
