Medical treatment,special methods of; electricity, administering; medicines, administering. - Electricity i s a d m i n istered by means of a sprayed medicament in the treatment of injuries or ailments. The medicament, which preferably contains sulphur, is sprayed through a deflector B, which is connected to one pole of a suitable source of electricity, the other pole being in contact with the patient. The deflector is of platinum, and may take the form of a cone, Fig. 1, or a spiral, Figs. 3 and 4. The nozzle of the spraying- device is in this case of insulating-material. Alternatively, the deflector may be dispensed with, and the spraying-device be made of metal and connected to one pole of the electric generator, or the spray-producer may be of a non-conducting material, and have an electrode immersed in the liquid. Skin diseases, such as eczema, and sciatica, gout, and rheumatism, are especially amenable to such treatment.
